Graffiti maybe considered an art though many would beg to differ because graffiti is an act of vandalism committed without permission and therefore is a crime. Bu no matter the legal stand of graffiti, graffiti is very popular. Some teens consider it a form of rebellion and others a past time; some graffiti artists are even hired by professionals to decorate their buildings, hotels, etc. Many a times graffiti are so astonishing that we can’t help but be awed. A variety of materials are used for graffiti such as car paint, spray paint, crayons and permanent ink. At times etching is also used, but spray paints are the widely used ones.

Another form of art is the street art which is legally an art, no hard feelings. Street art or murals are an ingenious way of expressing one’s views and an extremely creative way to urbanize the already urban environment. Lots of beautiful collages have been done around the world. It’s even become an integral element of hip-hop culture.
